A NEW LOOK FOR THE ASICS MANCHESTER HALF

Something new has arrived at the ASICS Manchester Half.

Ahead of this year’s event on Sunday 4 October, we’ve unveiled our new identity, as we celebrate Greater Manchester, its community and the many different ways participants make the experience their own.

To mark the launch, our new look was projected onto Victoria Warehouse, giving Manchester its first glimpse of our new logo.

INSPIRED BY MANCHESTER

Designed right here in Manchester by local creative agency Glorious, the new identity takes inspiration from the city’s distinctive industrial architecture and unmistakable character.

MAKE IT YOUR OWN

Personalisation has long been part of the ASICS Manchester Half, with thousands of participants choosing to put their own stamp on their bib each year. And there’s one design that has stood out this year. The bee was the most popular choice, selected by half of all participants who personalised their bib.

Our bold colours and patterns highlight this sense of individuality, reflecting the different experiences and reasons for taking part that each participant brings to the event.

MORE THAN JUST AN EVENT DAY

The ASICS Manchester Half is about more than what happens on the day. Whilst the new identity celebrates the individuality of participants, it also showcases the community they create together and the impact they have beyond the event itself.

Together, our participants help make a difference. This year, the event is expected to raise around £2 million for local and national charities, while more than £70,000 is expected to be pledged through the Manchester Marathon Community Fund to support initiatives across Greater Manchester. It’s a huge part of what makes the event special and something that will always be at the heart of what we do.

A NEW CHAPTER

The new identity has been created in collaboration with our title partner ASICS following the announcement of our partnership earlier this year. It also marks ten years of the event and the start of an exciting new chapter for the ASICS Manchester Half.

While our look might be changing, the things that make the event what it is remain the same Greater Manchester, our community and the thousands of participants who show up and make it their own.

And there’s already more to look forward to. The 2027 ASICS Manchester Half will take place on Sunday 3 October 2027.
